Fossils
and Minerals
In this episode we visit dinosaur excavation sites in Montana and
North Dakota. We learn from paleontologists how fossils are discovered
and excavated. We go to the lab to see how they prepare and preserve
the excavated bones. We visit Custer State Park to learn about the
Spires, the Needles and other rock formations found in the Black
Hills.
