The House Transportation Committee passed a bill that clarifies the procedures for the placement of funds among townships.
State representative Steve Street of Revillo supports the legislation. He says clarification for the less maintain roads are critical for the people who live in the area.
"The need to make them usable and this is just a step in that direction. Just because there's minimum maintenance doesn't mean that people don't use them," Street said.
There were no opponents for Senate bill 102. The legislation was moved to the consent calendar.
