Karl Gehrke fondly recalls asking his parents to turn down their rock music so he could hear his Big Band records. He's been bringing you Big Band Spotlight since the early 1990's. A former SDPB Radio and Minnesota Public Radio producer, he also hosts SDPB Radio’s Dakota Midday talk and issues program, weekdays at Noon (11 MT).
