On Saturday, September 22nd, South Dakota Symphony Orchestra debuted works created at a Music Composition Academy sponsored by the SDSO. The Music Composition Academy teaches students to express their creativity and write original music. Daily music composition lessons and activities were part of the academy; with an emphasis on cultural understanding and finding human commonalities.
