You are invited to live broadcasts of Jazz Nightly with host Karl Gehrke live from the Black Hills Bureau.
In addition to his usual mix of international, American, regional and local music, Karl is hosting live performances.
On Wednesday, February 28 at 8pm see the JAM Trio, featuring Jon Margolis on drums, Andrew Huot on guitar and Marc Packard on bass.
On Thursday, March 1 see Les Singes Volants. Playing the "Gypsy jazz" made popular in the 1930's by Romani-French guitarist Django Reinhardt, Rapid City’s acoustic Les Singes Volants features J.D. Fiedler and Joe Wilt on guitars and Chet Murry on bass.
Join Karl and SDPB in person. Performances are free and open to the public and take place in the South Dakota Community Foundation Gallery at the SDPB Black Hills Bureau, 415 Main Street, Rapid City. Stop in to see our new digs, and to hear some great gigs!
