New South Dakota TRACK Trails open Memorial Day Weekend

South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks has announced that seven new TRACK Trails will open in South Dakota State Parks and Recreation Areas this Memorial Day Weekend, on Saturday, May 23rd. The following parks and recreation areas in the northeast region of South Dakota will have new TRACK Trails:

Lake Herman State Park


Hartford Beach State Park

Mina Lake Recreation Area 

Pickerel Lake Recreation Area

Lake Thompson Recreation Area

Oakwood Lakes State Park


Richmond Lake Recreation Area

TRACK Trails are an expanding national network of family-friendly outdoor adventures. Each TRACK Trail features self-guided brochures and signs that turn visits into a fun and exciting outdoors experience.
