Miracle Treat Day: Top-20 Blizzard Flavors

Last Updated by Nate Wek on

Today, July 30, is the 10th anniversary of Miracle Treat Day. This annual event is a fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network, and it’s easy to donate. All you have to do is buy a blizzard at a local Dairy Queen establishment, as $1 of every blizzard purchased will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network.

In 2013, the Dairy Queen in Madison, SD made an arrangement with South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard. If the Madison Dairy Queen could see more than 32,000 blizzards on miracle treat day, which was their goal, then he’d jump out of an airplane. The Madison Dairy Queen establishment sold 38,412 blizzards, and the Governor kept his word.
