Join Pulitzer Prize winning author Jane Smiley, Lori Walsh & SDPB at the SD Festival of Books
SDPB will be in Brookings to mix and mingle with South Dakota writers and readers at the 2016 South Dakota Festival of Books, Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24.
Firday at Noon (11 MT), SDPB Radio's Dakota Midday is live from the Festival as host Lori Walsh interviews authors.
Friday evening, Lori interviews Pulitzer Prize-winner Jane Smiley. Smiley’s Some Luck is the Dakota Midday Book Club selection for September and the choice for One Book South Dakota. Jane Smiley and Lori Walsh will be in conversation in front of a live audience at the Peforming Arts Center Larson Memorial Concert Hall on the SDSU campus, 7:30pm.
On Saturday, stop by the SDPB Booth at the Children’s Museum of South Dakota. We’ll be in the Exhibitors Hall on the second floor giving away bookmarks and previewing selections for the 2016-2017 Dakota Midday Book Club.
