In the Moment with Lori Walsh
Spurred by the retirement of Morning Classics host Owen DeJong’s, Dakota Midday undergoes a time change as well as a name change. The show is broadening to SDPB's two-hour news and culture magazine program titled In the Moment with Lori Walsh.
In the Moment includes more arts and culture coverage and live music performance, along with expanded news coverage by a team of beat reporters from throughout South Dakota. In the Moment continues SDPB Radio's tradition of including authentic conversations with news makers, scholars, artists and everyday South Dakotans -- now extended to accommodate more stories and in-depth reports. “In the Moment will tell the story of what it means to live in South Dakota,” says host Walsh. “We are here to connect with our listeners – on air, online, and in-person.” In the Moment will be produced by SDPB’s Steve Zwemke and Chris Laughery.
In the Moment airs 11am-1pm (10am –Noon MT) Monday through Friday beginning Monday, January 2, 2017.
