Points of Pride: South Dakota’s Quilting Heritage premieres on SDPB Saturday, November 25.

The new one-hour documentary from SDPB shares the past, present, and future of quilting in South Dakota. Viewers are introduced to brilliant historical heirlooms and the stories of those who mastered the craft so many years ago and of young quilters carrying it forward in unexpected ways.

From county fairs and tribal lands to church basements and modern quilting guilds, join SDPB as we travel the state to present the art and heritage of South Dakota’s vibrant quilting communities. Featuring South Dakota quilt documentarian Mary Reece Fitzgerald, author of South Dakota Quilts and Quilt Makers, and Rapid City quilter Beth Mazella.
