Class AA
Sioux Falls O’Gorman and Sioux Falls Washington will play for the Class AA Championship on Saturday night. Sioux Falls O’Gorman defeated Aberdeen Central 49-42 and Sioux Falls Washington defeated Harrisburg 50-35, both games in the semi-final round. Aberdeen Central and Harrisburg will play for 3rd place to begin the evening session.
Class A
St. Thomas More and Elk Point-Jefferson will play for the class A state girls championship on Saturday night. St. Thomas More defeated Webster Area 62-37 and Elk Point-Jefferson defeated Mt. Vernon/Plankinton 46-40, both games in the semi-finals. Webster and Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will begin the evening session in the 3rd place game.
Class B
Sully Buttes and Ethan will play on Saturday night for the Class B state girls basketball championship game. Sully Buttes defeated De Smet 45-37 and Ethan defeated Summit 41-26, both games took place in the semi-final round. De Smet and Summit will begin the evening session with a battle for 3rd place.
