The 2015 South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame banquet will take place in Sioux Falls this Saturday at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Some of the big names being inducted this year are two-time world boxing champion Battling Nelson and three-time Olympian in track and field Cindy Greiner.
Former Minnesota Vikings linebacker, and former Vermillion HS football player, Ben Leber was chosen for induction this year as well. However, he will not be able to attend the banquet, and therefore is scheduled for induction next year.
