Dr. Brian Maher, Superintendent of the Sioux Falls Public Schools, has been elected for the Division 1 position on the Board of Directors with the South Dakota High School Activities Association. All SDHSAA member schools were entitled to vote in the election.
The terms of the Division I position require that it must be filled by a superintendent from any member school with at least one-fourth of the total student enrollment.
Dr. Maher will begin his term on the Board of Directors at the Wednesday, November 4, 2015, meeting. His term will run through the 2019-2020 school year.
