The 28th annual South Dakota All-State Jazz Band Concert will be held at the Aberdeen Central High School Theater in Aberdeen on Saturday, May 7, 2016. Each year, the All-State Jazz Band brings together South Dakota's most talented high school instrumental jazz musicians and provides an opportunity for students to practice and perform under the direction of conductors who may be recognized around the world. The jazz combo will be conducted by Bob Reynolds, saxophonist with Snarky Puppy and John Mayer.
