USD Standout Signs To Play Professional Basketball In Poland

Former Univeristy of South Dakota Coyote women’s basketball star Nicole Seekamp has signed a contract with AZS PWSZ Gorzow – a professional women’s basketball team in Poland.

During her time at USD, Seekamp scored 2,056 points, which is second all-time in school history. She also finished her collegiate career with 628 assists and 265 steals.

Seekamp announced the news this week in an Instagram post.

Excited to finally announce that I have signed my first professional contract with AZS PWSZ Gorzow, in Poland! Unbelievably blessed to have the opportunity to keep playing at a high level, experience a totally new culture, and have this amazing guy joining me in this journey!!! A special thanks to my family, Cody's family, and all my teammates and coaches I have had through my time because if it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't be going on this wonderful adventure!! #azspwszgorzow #poland #letsgo #newadventure

According to the USD Athletic Department, Seekamp is expected to report to Poland for basketball in September.
