Brookings High School video technology students are making
holiday connections for area members of the South Dakota 727th and 740th
National Guard units and other military service personnel currently serving
in the Middle East. The class provides an opportunity for area families to
leave viewable, video-taped Internet messages for their loved ones, many of
whom are stationed in Iraq. The South Dakota National Guard is helping to
coordinate the project.
Family members can contact video technology teacher Barb
Walder at (605) 696-4191 or e-mail
to set up an appointment for the video taping sessions which are done at
Brookings High School. Family members pre-plan a two to three minute
message, which is video taped by the students and then placed on the
Internet.
