Innovation host Cara Hetland talks with Robert Wharton, president of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. They talk the Mines Medal and other research projects at the School of Mines.
Steven W. Squyres is the Goldwin Smith professor of Astronomy at Cornell University, and the principal investigator for the science payload on NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Project. He discusses receiving the Mines Medal, as well as the Rover Project.
And, Ronald Utecht, president of Photo BioMed, and Chris Pierson, founder and chief operation officer for TetherEx, discuss vascular disease and the need for a solution.
