In 1874, Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer led an expedition from Ft. Lincoln in North Dakota to the Black Hills. Recently, three history enthusiasts have been following that trail and discovering more about the expedition through letters, diaries, photographs and artifacts left behind.
