After the demise of the Big Band Era, Count Basie was looking to make a comeback in the ‘50s. A handful of arrangers helped shape the new Basie sound. Tenor saxophone player Frank Foster was amongst that group. This week on Big Band Spotlight: Frank Foster's contributions to the Count Basie legacy.
