House Retirement Law
There are 40 Legislative Days scheduled for the 2003 session. Standing
Legislative Committees meet in regularly scheduled sessions during the
morning hours of each Legislative Day. Some committees will hold special
evening meetings. The House Retirement Laws Committee does not have a
regular meeting schedule; rather, the committee meets at the call of the
chair.

hb1252 - revise the amount of normal retirement allowance
for the members of the South Dakota Retirement System.
hb1188 - permit an association of school administrators to
participate in the South Dakota Retirement System
sb0014 - allow conversion of certain South Dakota
Retirement System credited service by certain law enforcement officers
sb0015 - revise the filing deadline for benefits under the
South Dakota Retirement System, to revise the commencement date in
certain situations, and to provide a delayed effective date
sb0016 - revise the retirement provisions for certain
members of the South Dakota Retirement System and to declare an
emergency
