There are 40 Legislative Days scheduled for the 2003 session. Standing Legislative Committees meet in regularly scheduled sessions during the morning hours of each Legislative Day. Some committees will hold special evening meetings. The Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am in room 413 of the Capitol.

HB 1061- provide for the crime of bestiality and to prescribe certain penalties therefor. SB 146 -revise certain provisions regarding visitation rights for grandparents. SB 158 - require that certain judgements awarded to certain offenders be used to provide restitution to crime victims. SB 176 - allow a claim for punitive damages in hit-and-run accident cases. HB 1119- revise certain provisions related to the arrest of a spouse for abuse. HB 1102 - revise certain provisions regarding the collection of personal property by affidavit. SB 141- prohibit capital punishment of juvenile offenders.
