There are 35 Legislative Days scheduled for the 2004 session. Standing Legislative Committees meet in regularly scheduled sessions during the morning hours of each Legislative Day. Some committees will hold special evening meetings. The House/Senate Appropriations Committee is scheduled to meet Monday through Friday at 7:45am in room LRC1 and LRC2 of the Capitol.

HB 1018-authorize the Board of Regents to construct a student wellness center at South Dakota State University and to make an appropriation therefor.

HB 1029-revise the General Appropriations Act for fiscal year 2004 to provide for additional costs associated with the medicaid program.
HB 1030 -make an appropriation for costs related to suppression of wildfires and to declare an emergency.
HB 1031-revise the General Appropriations Act for fiscal year 2004 to provide for fiscal relief received from the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003.

HB 1071-make an appropriation for salaries and benefits for public utilities commissioners and to declare an emergency.
