House State Affairs

There are 35 Legislative Days scheduled for the 2004 session. Standing Legislative Committees meet in regularly scheduled sessions during the morning hours of each Legislative Day. Some committees will hold special evening meetings. The House State Affairs Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am in room 412 of the Capitol.

HB 1015 -permit the Board of Regents to create a multi-institution bonded revenue system.
HB 1020 -provide additional compensation for certain legislative officers and caucus leaders and to make an appropriation therefor.
HB 1069 -designate the Bureau of Administration as the agency responsible for the review and adjustment of certain fees chargeable for legal publications.
HB 1070 -designate the Bureau of Administration as the agency through which the attorney general may make purchases of certain equipment.
HB 1075 -codify legislation enacted in 2003.
HB 1087-revise the property tax levies for the general fund of a school district.

HB 1058 - continue a surcharge on certain hunting licenses and to exempt resident furbearer and one-day small game licenses from the surcharge
HB 1073 - establish a consumer compensation and education fund related to telecommunication services and to provide for expenditures from the fund
HB 1074 - prohibit the providing of false or misleading information to the Public Utilities Commission and to provide a penalty therefore

HB 1201- authorize the issuance of revenue bonds to finance certain water pipelines or aqueducts.
HB 1217- revise certain provisions related to education benefits for the children of persons who died in military service.
