There are 35 Legislative Days scheduled for the
2004 session. Standing
Legislative Committees meet in regularly scheduled sessions during the
morning hours of each Legislative Day. Some committees will hold special
evening meetings. The House/Senate Appropriations Committee is scheduled
to meet Monday through Friday at 8:00am in room LRC1 and LRC2 of the
Capitol.

-authorize the Board of Regents
to construct a computational mechanics laboratory addition to the
civil, mechanical engineering building at the South Dakota School of
Mines and Technology, to appropriate money therefor, and to declare an
emergency.
SB 11-delegate authority to the Board of Regents to construct
certain buildings and structures and to make a continuing
appropriation therefor.
SB 47-revise the bonding provisions on certain Board of Regents
capital projects.

SB 73: make an appropriation from the education enhancement trust
fund to provide funding to the South Dakota State Historical Society
for educational outreach
SB 106: appropriate money for the Northern Crops Institute.
SB 153: appropriate money for the repair of Tripp Lake dam.
SB 190: appropriate money for the Campbell County Family Meats
Processing Plant.
SB 203: make appropriations from the water and environment fund,
the environment and natural resources fee fund, the water pollution
control revolving fund subfund, and the drinking water revolving fund
subfund, and to declare an emergency
SB 200: provide certain provisions relating to the transfer of a
portion of the former Homestake Mine to the Science and Technology
Authority, to make appropriations for certain costs associated with
maintaining the mine, and to declare an emergency.
SB 201: make an appropriation to the Science and Technology
Authority to purchase liability insurance and to operate the Homestake
Underground Laboratory and to declare an emergency.
