House Appropriations
 

There are 35 Legislative Days scheduled for the 2006 session. Standing Legislative Committees meet in regularly scheduled sessions during the morning hours of each Legislative Day. Some committees will hold special evening meetings. The House/Senate Appropriations Committee is scheduled to meet Monday through Friday at 7:45am in room LCR1 and LCR2 of the Capitol.

HB 1011 - increase the funds that may be expended to construct a student wellness center at South Dakota State University.
HB 1015 - authorize the Board of Regents to acquire an equestrian facility for South Dakota State University and to declare an emergency.
HB 1012 - authorize the Board of Regents to construct an advanced materials processing and joining laboratory foundry addition to the Metallurgy Foundry Building at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, to make an appropriation therefor, and to declare an emergency.
HB 1014 - authorize the Board of Regents to remodel certain locker room facilities and to renovate spectator, concession, press, and coaching facilities at the O'Harra Stadium at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and to make an appropriation therefor.
HB 1022 - revise the disposition of funds received for charges for board and room for work release inmates.
HB 1013 - make an appropriation to the Board of Regents for the construction, remodeling, or renovation of various structures or facilities on the campuses of the state's universities to provide additional support for women's athletic programs in furtherance of the policies and objectives of Title IX of the Education Act Amendments of 1972.

HB 1013 - make an appropriation to the Board of Regents for the construction, remodeling, or renovation of various structures or facilities on the campuses of the state's universities to provide additional support for women's athletic programs in furtherance of the policies and objectives of Title IX of the Education Act Amendments of 1972.
HB 1019 - revise and redirect certain revenues relating to the state capital construction fund, the ethanol fuel fund, the state highway fund, the water and environment fund, and the state general fund.

HB 1038 - make an appropriation to reimburse certain family physicians and certain dentists who have complied with the requirements of the physician tuition reimbursement program and the dental tuition reimbursement program.
HB 1055 - appropriate money for international trade representation and to declare an emergency.
HB 1090 - appropriate money for compensatory payments to certain school districts and to revise provisions related to certain school district entitlements.
HB 1237 - make an appropriation to fund tax refunds for elderly and disabled persons and to revise the income eligibility requirements for property tax and sales tax refunds.
HB 1103 - appropriate money to postsecondary technical institutes for the maintenance and repair of buildings.
HB 1142 - appropriate money to the state library for digital access to newspapers.
