Senate Government Operations & Audit

There are 35 Legislative Days scheduled for the 2008 session. Standing Legislative Committees meet in regularly scheduled sessions during the morning hours of each Legislative Day. Some committees will hold special evening meetings. The Senate Government Operations and Audit Committee does not have a regular meeting schedule, rather, the committee meets at the call of the chair.

SENATE GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS AND AUDIT

9th Legislative Day
01/22/2007 Complete Meeting
SB 71 - repeal certain statutes and references regarding obsolete accounting funds.
SB 14 - increase the maximum fees for conducting certain weights and measures inspections and testing.
SB 7 - establish certain fees to provide for air quality permitting, inspecting, and compliance services to ethanol production plants.
10th Legislative Day
01/23/2007 Complete Meeting
SB 19 - revise the fee for certain licenses issued by the Board of Funeral Services.
SB 84 - increase the maximum fees for conducting weights and measures inspections and testing.
21st Legislative Day
02/07/2007 Complete Meeting
SB 14 - increase the maximum fees for conducting certain weights and measures inspections and testing.
HB 1039 - increase certain fees relating to the Board of Barber Examiners.
HB 1027 - authorize the issuance of temporary snowmobile permits to residents and to increase the fee for such permits.
32nd Legislative Day
02/26/2007 Complete Meeting
HB 1041 - revise the fees for cosmetology, nail technology, and esthetics.
