House Government Operations & Audit

There are 35 Legislative Days scheduled for the 2008 session. Standing Legislative Committees meet in regularly scheduled sessions during the morning hours of each Legislative Day. Some committees will hold special evening meetings. The House Government Operations and Audit Committee does not have a regular meeting schedule, rather, the committee meets at the call of the chair.  Check the committee agenda

7th Legislative Day 01/16/2008 Complete Meeting HB 1106 - repeal the real estate recovery fund and to transfer the existing balance to the South Dakota Real Estate Commission. HB 1108 - repeal the election equipment replacement fund and to transfer the existing balance to the state general fund. HB 1109 - repeal the state lottery investigation fund. HB 1110 - restrict municipal membership in the public entity pool for liability.
