House Local Government 

There are 40 Legislative Days scheduled for the 2009 session. Standing Legislative Committees meet in regularly scheduled sessions during the morning hours of each Legislative Day. Some committees will hold special evening meetings. The House Local Government Committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday and Thursday at 10am in room 414 of the Capitol.

HB 1148 - clarify requirements for employment of a city engineer. HB 1135 - authorize the posting on the internet by the state, municipalities, counties, and school districts in addition to or in lieu of certain publication requirements. SB 110 - repeal the limited campaign finance disclosure statement which could be used by certain candidates or candidate campaign committees for legislative office. SB 122 - clarify the status of property contiguous to a municipality that is crossed by railroad property.
