Senate Taxation  

There are 40 Legislative Days scheduled for the 2009 session. Standing Legislative Committees meet in regularly scheduled sessions during the morning hours of each Legislative Day. Some committees will hold special evening meetings. The Senate Taxation Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:00 am in room 412 of the Capitol.

SB 44 - repeal certain sales and use tax exemptions concerning the sale of feed for certain animals and the sale of certain animals, and to repeal the classification of fur-bearing animals.
SB 42 - provide an application deadline for sales and use tax refunds regarding certain storage facilities.

SB 12 - limit the amount of tax refunds for construction projects that are located in areas that are included in a tax collection agreement between the state and an Indian tribe.
SB 16 - revise certain provisions regarding the taxation of biodiesel and biodiesel blends.
