On the Premier of STATEHOUSE LIVE on SDPB TV, the focus will be on education. Join us tonight as Lt. Governor Matt Michels stops by to share his thoughts on his first year in office and the 2012 legislative session so far. Wade Pogany with the associated school boards of SD, John Pedersen with School Administrators of SD, and Sandy Arsenault with the South Dakota Education Association will share their thoughts on the Governor's education proposals. They'll also talk about the financial struggles that many schools in South Dakota still face. To provide an update from each political party the Chair of the South Dakota Democrats Ben Nesselhuf will be on and joining us to represent the Republicans, former state lawmaker Lee Shoenbeck. To provide some perspective on the session so far will be political science professor Dr. Ken Blanchard from Northern State University. The fun begins at 7pm CT.
