Tonight on Statehouse LIVE, Rep. Susy Blake will join me to talk about her measure that will eliminate the sales tax on food refund program. The Bill was originally killed in committee; the Representative will share with us how it was brought back to life and what this could mean for South Dakota.
Republican Representative Roger Hunt will talk about two bills he's sponsoring this session. One deals with the decision making process a woman goes through when considering an abortion, its House Bill 1254. The Second takes a closer look at surrogacy rights. Also joining me to talk about issues important to Indian Country, Rep. Kevin Killer of Pine Ridge. Lee Schoenbeck with the Republican Party and Ben Nesselhuf with the Democratic Party provide their non-legislative perspective on this year's session and we'll see highlights from U.S. Representative Kristi Noem's comments she made to the SD House of Representatives this afternoon. Statehouse Live airs at 7pm CT on SDPB TV and online at www.sdpb.org
