SDHSAA Plans In Rapid City Won't Change During Construction of New Events Center

Rapid City will soon have a new events center. On Tuesday, 64 percent of voters approved the proposal. While construction is underway, the SDHSAA doesn't foresee any changes with events planned at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.

All varsity fine arts groups and athletic teams that achieve a combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible to receive the SDHSAA Academic Achievement Team Award. For the 2017-18 winter season of athletics and fine arts, 658 teams were given awards.
