Carl Petersen is running for election in the state House of Representatives.
Petersen is running as a Democrat for 28A in northwestern South Dakota, which includes Timber Lake and McIntosh, as well as portions of the Cheyenne River and Standing Rock reservations.
Petersen is a board member for the Young Democrats of South Dakota.
