Interview With Director of "The New Black"

Yoruba Richen is a documentary filmmaker who has directed and produced films in the U.S., Africa, South America and Southeast Asia. Her latest film, "The New Black," tells the story of how the African-American community is grappling with gay rights issues in light of the recent gay marriage movement and the fight over civil rights. The "New Black" will air on Independent Lens at 9:30 pm CT Sunday, June 15, on SDPB-TV.
