NPR Tiny Desk entry from South Dakota: Scott Simpson

SDPB

The deadline to submit music to NPR's Tiny Desk contest is fast approaching. The contest invites independent artist from across the country to submit original music for a chance to preform their own Tiny Desk concert at NPR's studio in Washington D.C..

Spearfish artist Scott Simpson submitted music in 2021, and he's submitted a new song this year. Take a moment to hear Simpson's 2022 Tiny Desk entry "This Growing Old"

Simpson is a friend of the show and has 31 albums to date. You can also see him on the documentary “Old Guitars and the Musicians Who Love Them." For more from Scott Simpson, check out his podcast "Dancin' Moon songcast."

You still have time to enter your music to NPR's Tiny Desk Contest. Submissions close on March 14.
