Cory Knedler has devoted his life to the arts. His many roles have allowed him to serve as a mentor to generations of young artists.
Cory's own art as a printmaker can be found in exhibits both nationally and internationally.
His mark at the University of South Dakota is significant. As director of the Oscar Howe Summer Art Institute at USD, Cory has created a rich and diverse community of artists.
He receives the 26th annual South Dakota Governor's Award in the Arts for outstanding service in arts education.
