The city of Watertown is increasing the number of roads to plow first when inclement winter weather strikes.

Residents will notice an extra signage along these priority roadways reminding drivers that they cannot park during snow emergencies or when snow accumulation is over two inches.

The updated route should allow emergency service personnel and motorists a safer drive during the winter months, according to city officials.

The updated emergency snow route map can be found here.

Residents can sign up for notifications regarding snow and ice removal by going to the city website.
