For 27 years the LSS Festival of Cultures has been celebrating diversity in South Dakota. The 2024 festival is coming up, June 8.
We preview the live music, learn about languages, customs and backgrounds with Valeria Wicker and Nancy Halverson. Listen as we talk about connecting community through music and the celebration of culture.
Wicker is the leader of the LSS Multicultural Center in Sioux Falls. Halverson is the executive director of Levitt at the Falls. They join "In the Moment" ahead of the festivities.
The LSS Festival of Cultures takes place this Saturday, June 8 at Levitt at the Falls.
Music begins at 10:30 a.m. on the stage.
