NPR Tiny Desk entry Sequoia Crosswhite is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and a descendant of Chief War Eagle and Chief Swift Cloud. He is an accomplished musician, grass dancer, and historian. From his handmade flutes to his fusion of musical genres, much of his music is about Indian heritage and current life.
