SDPB Sweeps Division for 2019 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards

SDPB is pleased to announce SDPB News has won 5 regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, including a three-peat for Excellence in Video and taking the Overall Excellence category for the fifth year in a row.

SDPB won in the following categories:

Feature Reporting: "Youth Partner in Growing Opportunities on Rosebud Reservation"

REDCO, the Rosebud Economic Development Corporation, is the largest employer of interns on the Rosebud Reservation.

Excellence in Innovation: Images of the Past: Aunt Sally

Sarah “Aunt Sally” Campbell was a teenage slave in Dakota Territory who found her freedom to become one of the region's early entrepreneurs.  SDPB's staff worked as a team to create a multi-platform presentation of her story.
