SDPB's upcoming Vanished South Dakota documentary was inspired by the public feedback for a Dakota Life short we aired in 2017. The Dakota Life short was only 10 minutes long but the feedback we received from it has been endless and inspirational. Our fans and members shared with us not only additional stories about the towns covered in that video but led us to learn more about towns we had never heard of. And so it was a documentary was born! It is through the support and ideas from our members that great things can come to life--Thank you!
