Rob Fleder -- During his 20 years at Time, Inc., Rob Fleder was executive editor of Sports Illustratedand editor of Sports Illustrated Books. Fleder's latest book, co-written with Steven Hoffman, is The Sports Bucket List. Fleder has also edited Damn Yankees: Twenty-four Major League Writers on the World Most Loved (and Hated) Team and Paper Trails, a collection of Pete Dexter's journalism. Fleder lives in New York's Hudson River Valley.

Susan Elizabeth Phillips -- Phillips is a sports-romance writer and the only four-time recipient of the Romance Writers of America's prestigious Favorite Book of the Year Award.

Heid E. Erdrich -- Poet, writer & filmmaker Heid E. Erdrich has written five books of poetry, most recently curator of Ephemera at the New Museum for Archaic Media, as well as Original Local: Indigenous Foods, Stories and Recipies from the Upper Midwest. Erdrich lives in Minnesota.

Geneive Abdo -- Abdo is a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council's Rafik Hariri Center for the Middle East in Washington, DC, and a lecturer at the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University. She has written four books, most recently The New Sectarianism. A specialist in political Islam, Abdo has served as the liaison officer for the United Nations' Alliance of Civiliations and as a forreign correspondent focused on the Middle East and the Muslim world.

Robin Wall Kimmerer -- is a mother, scientist and enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. Her books include Braiding Sweetgrass and Gathering Moss, which won the John Burroughs Medal for oustanding nature writing. Kimmerer lives in Syracuse, NY, where she is a SUNY Distinguished Teachign Professor of Environmental Biology and founder-director of the Center for Native Peoples and the Environment.
