A U.S. government construction and engineering firm has been awarded over $43 million to construct a B-21 weapons training facility in South Dakota.
The company, Conti Federal Services, is a construction firm that specializes in military projects. They will construct the B-21 Weapons Loader Training Facility in support of the multi-year strategy for the B-21 program, according to a press release.
The project will be built at Ellsworth Airforce Base in Box Elder, South Dakota.
In addition to construction costs, the money will renovate administrative, training, and utility areas for the project. The facility will replace the base’s “Pride Hangar.”
The project is estimated to be completed by September 2025.
