The Rushmore Plaza Civic Center will become a giant playground for babies to pre–teens at the 22nd annual Youth & Family Services Kids Fair. For 22 years, the YFS Kids Fair has been a place to gather for fun, while raising funds for programs and educational activities that benefit more than 14,000 children and their families in western South Dakota.
This year's Kids Fair will feature past favorites such face painting, live entertainment, inflatable attractions, a giant sand box, and more than 70 booths just brimming with hands–on activities. Several new activities and attractions will also be making their way into this year's Kids Fair!
Be sure to look for SDPB’s booth. We’ll be talking about honeybees, offering hands-on activities including the chance to make your own Bee Garden, and chances to win a new Strider bike – one bike will be given away each day of the event! And be sure to stop and see Science Steve, who explains scientific principles in a fun and engaging way. Science Steve is available because of support from 3M, Dakota State University and The Journey Museum and Learning Center. Plus get your picture taken with Buddy, made possible by Liv Hospitality and WaTiki Indoor Waterpark.
