Great Fruits for Early Learners

Good News! Two fruits that most children love are also healthy for them to eat! Apples and bananas are packed with what is suitable for early learners. Apples are a low-calorie snack high in soluble and insoluble fiber. A large apple has around 130 calories, and none come from fat. Apples also don’t have any sodium or cholesterol. Apples also have vitamin A and C and both iron and calcium.

Bananas may be the most eaten fruit in the world and have been eaten since ancient times. Bananas are loaded with B1 and B6. B1 is excellent for brain development. A medium-sized banana is a great source of fiber, potassium, calcium, and phosphorus and even has traces of other vital minerals like iron.

Other great fruits for kids include citrus fruits like oranges loaded with vitamin C and avocados loaded with just about everything! These fruits are great snacks for early learners and learners of all ages!
