Join the Madison Area Arts Council as they welcome singer-songwriters Michael Shay and Matt Fockler to The BrickHouse for a special listening-room session. Originally from Austin Texas, classically trained musician Michael Shay is touring in support of his latest release, "Motherland", which features original songs exploring themes of land, class, family, migration, desperation, seasons, gender, labor, and escape. Montrose's own Matt Fockler, a gifted songwriter whose songs have been covered by Jonathan Bryd, Charlie Roth, and the Steep Canyon Rangers, joins this session too.
