Sioux Falls Police arrested a suspect in connection to a hit and run that happened Dec. 14.
Thirty-six-year-old Sioux Falls resident Ali Hassan is charged with one count of hit and run.
Police officials allege Hassan was driving his vehicle and hit Vernocia Honkamp-Martin who sitting on the pavement in the driving lane of Russell Avenue.
The 28-year-old was dragged on the road before becoming dislodged. She succumbed to her injuries on the scene.
