RCFD rescues cat from structure fire

A structure fire in Rapid City was tackled by the local fire department.

The fire, on Wood Avenue, was visible from the street as crews arrived on scene.

During the search and rescue operations, crews rescued a cat from the smoke. The feline got medical attention and was uninjured.

The flames were knocked down quickly by the crews. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
