Students of geology know what field camp is as it's required for graduation by most universities. The pandemic stopped that from happening around the world but a group of faculty at the Black Hills Natural Science Field Station run by South Dakota Mines found a way around it. Nuri Uzunlar is the director of BHNSFS and a Professor of Geology and Geological Engineering at South Dakota Mines.
