Jonathan Edwards' guitar playing, writing, and vocal sense grew out of sibling rivalry. Now based in the Twin Cities, Edwards, a.k.a. "Wayward," grew up in Afton, Minnesota - one of 13 siblings.

The indie-pop artist draws inspiration from the stories of real life. Not just his own, but also from the people he meets. Edwards says, "Each and every person on this planet has a unique story, a unique ambition, a unique past, a unique future."
